What is
Air Roasted Coffee?

Air roasting is a unique method that prioritizes taste and innovation. Rather than using a traditional metal drum, the air roasting process suspends the coffee beans on a bed of hot air. This prevents the beans from developing the burnt, acidic taste that can develop from sitting on a hot steel drum. The result is a smoother, more consistent taste that boasts lower acidity levels than a regular brew. Air Roasted Coffee truly is a better cup.

Our air roasted beans ensure that you taste the flavor of the coffee - not the roaster! Many people who experience a sour stomach or acidic after-taste with traditional coffee find that air roasted beans produce a much more desirable morning brew.

The use of hot air for roasting increases the speed at which heat is transferred to the bean. The moisture of the green coffee beans is driven off quickly, reducing the taste of those sour acids!

Brad Newkirk is the owner of Air Roasted Coffee Company, as well as Columbia, Missouri's B&B Bagel Company. ARC is currently available at several locations in Columbia, including B&B, and is also available for purchase online.
